I really dont know where to begin ,so I'll get to the point.

It seems that the trent river and picton is the place to be. Unbelieveable!!!! This has been one of the best years for a long time. Those guys that have put their boats away are really missing out. (including my brother) I realize that this time of year its a gamble but when you have this type of fishing....WHAT TO DO?

The same old baits are still producing in their usual places. The yo-zuris are still the best bet for the shore fisherman backed up by the reef runners and the wally minnow. Seems that this past week the fire tiger and pearch patterns have been kicking butt. The tail dancer in these patterns have been doing excellent both from the shore and by boat. Theres a new bait out from rapala that is also kicking butt. Tried it myself and liked what it did. Manns came out with new colours for their stretch 20's and trust me these are going to be hot. One of the distributors that I buy from brought some in and told me that their was only two retailers in Canada that has them and I was one and the other one is in Smith Falls Ont. I did order more but I'm sure they wont be here before ice up. At least I'll be able to show them to you all when you come in.
You better watch out and you better not pout if you miss the bite thats on right know.
Have fun be safe and bring back everything you took with you.

Ron

Skevy:

Are you referring to the new Rapala Minnow Shads or to the new Taildancer TD09's ?

Some BOQ fish have seent the new Tail Dancers a couple weeks ago and found them very attractive - Ask Shaun Rickard.

It looks as though we'll have get some of the new ones.

Looking forward to seeing the Manns new colours.

Last weekend the fish showed that purple/pink was a favourite.

See you on the 26th.
