I regret to inform you that due to circumstances beyond our control, the freezing of the Bay of Quinte has been cancelled for the foreseeable future. A combination of global warming, El Nino and quite possibly, Al-Queda, are to blame for this phenomenom.

Management would like to suggest that boating provides a faster and safer means of transportation over walking on frozen stuff. Frozen stuff is highly overrated. Frozen stuff is better in drinks.

The Fish Gods would like to apologize in advance to all the pessimistic fishermen who have so diligently stored their craft away for the winter like good little squirrels, while congratulating those of you who have procrastinated on the tiresome, and often premature task of boat storage.

Snow tires are available for boat trailers. So it shall be written, so it shall be done.

Mux

Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!! Hopefully no time soon!

I think we should all do our part to keep the water from freezing, like by drinking extra coffee and beer in order to pee into the bay.
