Quinte Fishing

For all you diehards, we got a late start but decided to head out anyway stop by Skevy to get the low down and minows, and figured we head to Picton Burrrrr cold -6 without the wind a few brave soles out fighting the wind and 2 ft chop. We got the lines out and wham Fish on a nice 6 pounder, we were marking lot's of fish 25ft to 40ft, down got the lines back down and 40 mins later wham another taker a nice 8 pounds of winter Walleye we lost two more and headed to the ramp by 4:30. Remember to bring salt or sand the ramp was iced up solid. We then headed to dinner and to warm up. Hey let's give the mouth of the Trent a try I said no boat, shore fishing buddy off we went and what a great move as we landed 4 more Eye's all 3 to 4 pounds casting from shore on the east side of the river at the mouth. Bring those crank baits folks.
