~~~~Well the Weatherman had it half right it was +0, but didn't get sunny till after 12, and well here what it looked like in my widdle world
~~We set up just E. of the ferry, with me running Dr. D off a Poormans Rigger, WalleyeDreamer was running a DR. D off a planer boards and Mann's BlueBerry off a Didsy Diver. We joined a small Armada~~No lets just say a small collection boats all enjoying a Blizzard~Thank you old great GPS gods, we sometimes couldn't see each other, never mind where the shore was, or which was N. Had to run a small drift sock off the bow to get our speed down to 1.5. We marked a large amount of hooks on the bottom, with a few other higher up, we washed lures along the S shore to Keith Shoal, then back up the N shore, with nada for action.
~~We decided to had over to THompson's, where we maked a lot of bait and large hooks chasing them, and since the Weather Gods started to smile on us with lighter winds, and the promised sun shine,
~~We switched up our lure, I ran Mann's Rainbow Trout, off my small ball, had the ball down at 22ft running the lure 200ft. behind, while WD ran a Mann's Perch off the board. Twice I could see a hook coming up and checking out the ball only to head back to bottom, once I saw 1 hook come up and hit my release clip popping the line. On our third pass Phish On, and brought in this widdle beauty
~~Well she was all we caught for the day, and she was released, to continue her journey.
~~Want to send a big thank you to my Bestest Bud WalleyeDreamer(Mario),
for another great year of Phishen, THANKS BUD
