Checking this morning there were a few people off Potter’s Creek fishing around 200 yards off shore. Reports are that there is a good 4-5 inches of ice. Our pro-staff were out this morning and did well getting walleye in the 6-8 pound range and lost a couple at the hole that were a lot larger. Our own staff and pro-staff will be out tomorrow morning and for the next couple of days and we will post pics and give you a good report when they return.

We have a good supply of minnows with another 5,000 being delivered in the next couple of days.

Our price is 5.00 a scoop and a scoop of minnows is approximately 2 1/2 dozen. Great bang for your buck.

Have fun fishing and be safe.

Best regards,
Sam

so that means your counting them out?

No Bassman1234, we are not counting we are just scooping them out and sometimes we give a scoop and a half for the same price. One of our customers counted them and claimed we gave him 33 minnows for the 5.00. We want to make sure that you get what you deserve for the price. It seems that the area was dictating a high price for minnows with only one retailer selling minnows and that did not seem fair to the consumers. Just think back what you paid last year at 4.50 a dozen and compare them to this year's prices. Hopefully we did help to bring competitive prices into the area. The way we look at it now we are selling for 2.00 - 2.50 for a dozen. Hopefully that price is agreeable with everyone. Another service that we offer is that if you require a minnow bucket and the price of the bucket is approximately $5.00 - $6.00 we then give you a free scoop of minnows with the bucket.

By the amount of traffic coming into our store from Trenton, Belleville and surrounding areas, our customers are extremely pleased with our prices and service and feel they are not getting hosed. Hopefully we can be of service to you in the future as well.

Best regards,
Sam

Hi Traveller,

We are located at 51 Adam St. Take 401 to Hwy 37 head south one block to Adam St. On the corner is a new Sunoco gas station and we are located in the building next to Sunoco.

Our staff member Glen Hales was out last night with one of our pro-staff and they lmited out in no time and the walleye were in the 2 lb range no lunkers. He will be heading out before work tomorrow morning and we should have a report then. Both Glen and I will be heading out Wed. evening after work.

Best regards,
Sam

Thanks for the update and report Sam. I'm looking forward to getting down in the next week or so. Will be stopping in to see you then.

Mike
