Anyone fishing west end of Point Anne? Was out on Sat. 4 1/2" of ice, 3" white ice. Not very secure. Hoping to go this week-end. And are the shad gone?

Went west end Point Anne, Sat. am. Started jigging @ 7:00, about 15 mins later felt like a 100 perch hitting my line pulled up snagged a SHAD!!! now why would a walleye want a shiney lure with a old mudder on it when a buffet right pass his mouth, there bellies must be full.Perch untill 9:30. :(

From what i heard bayside was doing well. A buddy called me and reported their party had landed 9 fish. Of course he wouldn't be too specific on the spot when I tried to get that out of him. He did say something about a school near by.
