We headed out today and fished Herchimer Point for the first part of the morning. We didnt do so well and missed the morning bite. After taking a break we decided to fish Point Anne. There were lots of shacks around but nobody was slamming fish. We ended the day with a decent catch with the biggest being around 4.5 lbs. We were in 20 feet of water using jigs tipped wtih minnows.

Well at least you got some fish for your effort. Congrats. What kind of jigs where you using?

we were using nothing fancy, just standard summer walleye jigs . The hot colours were orange and chartreuse.
