Was wondering if anyone knew of a technique to sharpen the auger blades. Tried a number of ways: grinder, stone, a sharpener made for auger blades but not having much luck. Should I just toss them and buy new blades or what? Right now, I don"t think these would drill through a bowl full of jello!!!
Please help!

Replace the blades but keep the old ones and send them to the manufacturer for sharpening.

Check with Don Baker at bakers Baits. He has someone who sharpens blades for about $5.00....Larry

If your near Kingston, I have taken my blades to Eddy's Tool & Skate Sharpening on several occasions. Not sure how he does it, but they go through ice just like butter, when he is done.
