Guys,

I fished at the Deseronto Bridge Friday between
3:30 and 6:00. Saw at least 8 fish caught. Some
1-2 lbs, some slot fish and one over slot. I caught
one slot fish around 5-6 lbs (I think). Because I
shot line released him right at the edge of the hole.
Oh well better luck next time. It was enough to
convince me I will be out again. Weather was warm
and the outing was pleasant. Met a couple of guys
from Peterbough. They got one of those 1-2 lbers.

Good luck, See you on the ice,

I'm the guy in the Orange floater suit, you can miss me.

I WAS AT THE BRIDGE ON FRIDAY TO OUR GROUP WAS DOUBLE JIGGING FOR SOME OF THOSE WALLEYE.
WE STAYED OUT ALL DAY.WE WERE FIRST OUT AND LAST TO LEAVE.

MORN FISH WAS GOOD BUT TO MUCH PREASURE FOR AN EVE FISH.IT WAS LIKE COWBOYS AND INDIANS OUT THERE.WE WERE SURROUNDED BY 4:00 AND JUST KEPT JIGGING.

IT WAS A LONG DRIVE BACK TO ST.KITT'S.

Andyman,

I experienced the same coralling effect last
saturday night but with even more fishermen.
I was the first out at 2 pm and by 4:30 I was
totally surrounded. Then when the fish started
biting, they would hit the people on the outside
edges. Especially those that were on the west,
south, and east sides. The best bite was 4 til 5:30.

I was like you, I remainded in the center and watched
people catch fish. It's a bit frustrating.

My advice is to move to the outside edges of the fishing
crowd at around 4 oclock. I really think it improves your
odds.

Good Luck next time out,

BATMAN

This week it seems like the best place to fish. I can understand why people don;t like telling you where they are landing fish.

I going down to Deseronto this weekend.

They are catching some great walleye under the Deseronto Bridge. Eastern section of Quinte seems to be doing much better than Trenton or Bellville.
