I have decided to try and buy a portable ice hut now that the season is coming to a close and im wondering if anyone is aware of any deals on Clam as I think they are the best available as I would be pulling it behind me

check basspro in vaughn, a few weeks back they had the guides and the one mans on sale, like $100 off.
Not sure if they still have any.

hey jon5jo, Have you considered the Otter,series huts? I did my homework last year and settled on the "walleye series 2 man. It doesn't weigh as much as the clam and it's all square tube aluminun framing , very portable and sets up in minutes.The shell is well put together and durable. They can be viewed at www.otteroutdoors.com
Oh and by the way they were cheaper. You are not paying for the Genz nameplate like the clam.

I was up at Bass Pro on the 15th of this month and picked up the fish trap guide for $325 and i was told i got the last one at that price although they had an open box one there that was missing a piece for one of the seats. Not sure if they got any more in at that price or not.

I would try Lebaron i know they carry it as it is on there website and the last time i checked it was $435.
