Hi all. I just bought an older Mustang flotation suit + it is in nice shape except for being quite dirty. Anybody got some good tips on how to clean it ? I see on the tag it can't be dry cleaned, so that option is out. Thanks for any input.

Buoy `O Buoy which is now Mustang told me that using dishwashing
detergent and a scrub brush is the way they recommend. I lay mine
out on the picnic table and scrub away. You will never get all the grime
off but it is the best way according to the manufacturer. Do not put
in a washing machine. Hang up to dry outdoors if possible

I left mine in under the front of the boat for a summer one year. Talk about dirt and mold 8O

...I figure it just looks a bit more used and abused and matches my liver

Cheers

I just washed mne last Sunday.

went to laundromat - big washer - two spoons of Oxy-Clean, a buck 75 and then let it dry in the sun and sprayed the inside with Fabreze to rid some of the remaining odour.

Looks good, some of the deep stains will never come out, but c'est la vie.

Wash away!!!!!!
