I'm entering the tournament and am just wondering if you can you fish with live minnows and if you can fish the mouth of the trent.

just out of curiosity wth is the deal with tickets? no one has, no one seems to know when they are getting them, and early bird is done this weekend.

Does anyone know?

Got this in my email yesterday. It explains.
Ladies Gentlemen Walleye and Pike Specialists, Greetings

We apologize and say to you we are sorry about the delay in getting tickets and hats to your favourite outlet and for your inconvenience if you have tried to enter already. We have extended the early bird one week and deferred the price increase till then.

The Hats arrived Thursday and today we hope to supply all outlets. See your poster or www.quinte.com/walleye <<http://www.quinte.com/walleye>> for the early bird prizes if you enter before Sunday April 22.

The price increase to $30 now takes place Sunday April 22nd, so please buy before then.

Fishing is the best ever, so join the fun May 5 and 6. If you wish to pay for your ATV tickets sent to you by mail, please ask your ticket outlet retailer to accept the money and stubs.

Your Patience is appreciated, and your participation helps the various service club partners serve their community.

Fish safely, be aware of others on the water and wear you life jacket. Come to the closing ceremonies.

I email them every year asking them to dump the hats (ugly looking) and lower the ticket price to $20. I need a hat like I need a hole in the head.

Got my Hat And Ticket YESTERDAY! The hats are not attractive in my view but I still collect em every year, I wish they would put an actual picture of a Walleye on them! This year the pic of the fish looks like a Brown Fish of some kind! GL to all that enter!

Can't wait...The hats are nice cause if you come year after year you have a nice collection to display.

Hopefully I can still get one on the Friday since I am coming from Ottawa.
