Fisherman,

Is this your first time out in the morning? Were
there many fisherman out?

About 4 years ago I fished the same area in the
mornings the same period you fished and I had
the same kind of luck 2 out of 3 times I went.

Did you see other fish caught by others on the ice?

I would love to get one of your good days once this year,

BATMAN

I assume you mean 'caught' when you say 'had' in previous posts. As you know, most of those fish 4 - 5 pounders would've been slot fish, so shoulda been headed back down the holes. There's been lots of stories about slot fish being kept, so just wanted to check. Great news to hear the fish are biting though. Thanks for the reports.

Fisherman11,

Sounds like you get out alot. Are you retired?
I would be interested in getting out with you
if you are available this week. I can take a day
off to fish the morning or take the afternoon off
to hit the bridge for an evening. Looks like we are
going to have some warm weather starting Tuesday.
It will be really warm by next weekend but it would
be nice to beat the croud.

If your interest send me an Email. :!:

Hey Batman:

I know I'm not the guy you e-mailed about getting out fishing with BUT-
I'm a new fisherman to the area and haven't moved all my stuff down or found any fishermen to fish with yet- most of the guys I've met at work are more into trout than anything else- if they fish at all. I've heard an awful lot about the Bay and some of the fish swimming in it, and would love to tangle with one of them. I've been busy with work and only have some of my ice gear here, but I could definitely find my way to Deseranto or somewhere else. Let me know if you're interested.

It seems like Deseronto has been the best spot on quinte this season. I have had no luck in Trenton or Belleville.

The only fish I caught in that area was the fish I order for dinner.
