Well, started off well on Friday night, fished till 4:30 am and between my dad and I, we boated 12. Biggest being in the 9lb range, caught by yours truly. As for Saturday and Sunday, not a hit. That wind was howling! A buddy of ours at the camp placed 4th though, and his buddy placed 6th I think. Other than that, I think those who will have a chance to fish the rest of this month and beyond should have a good year, lots of fish to be had.

I had 3 guys up this year at the cottage at the end of H.bay and they all had a scream. First fish 12:05, the second mintues later, around 4am I hauled in a 6lb 13ounce and Kanuck ended up with a 8lb. Not bad for openers. Saturday not much had but Sunday across fro P.park we landed quite a few with a 5.5lb and 6.5lb plus some nice eaters. Nice to get back to the old days when you drive out, get a few and be back for supper. sweet !

Thanks Cottager ! You are a great host! Next time some folks may need a key rack though!
And thanks to Red Swan Tackle. Larry, I used one of your livebait rigs in red and it got most of my fish ,the one with the small wobble troll in line .
Great lures from the local who knows what it takes!
If some of you have not tried a red swan then you should!
Thank you to whoever donated to the walleye world Derby . I was lucky drawn and got a Quantum baitcast reel.
Could say it was a great F'ing weekend Fish,Fun,Free,Fabulous,Fantastic.
