I have got Monday off and can't decide what direction to go, BOQ or back lake. Its my only day off and would like to find some eye's. Any thought's?

I can't say I have heard of that ramp, I am somewhat new to area. Is that on BOQ?

The fish are biting pretty good in Hay Bay-East End(the Flats) Close to the launch ramp off the River Road

I was up to the cottage this weekend for the walleye opener. We got skunked...not even a pike. :roll:
Cottage is on Grindstone lake near Plevna but we fished a small lake called Fawn lake.

Well me and a buddy started out early in the wee hours at 2nd Depot yesterday on a hunch. But that proved to be fishless, seen some deer getting a drink at daybreak, nice scenery but no fish very cool morning. We then proceeded to Hay Bay north-east of pickeral park. A few boats out and wind picking up. Nice pickeral chop and a good drift but bite was very slow. Fished from 9am. too 3:30pm ended up with 3 eye's from 1.5lb-3lb. Also aprox. 5 smallish pike. All in all not bad, had some action but did not have to go to shore to bait hook. Maybe next week will be better.
