Back down to the trailer this past weekend and was looking forward to taking the kids trolling on the flats for some eyes. The kids would rather fish at the docks as the panfish, gobies and the odd crappie and bass keep them busy. Well i was able to con them into the boat for a while and they had a blast. They each caught 3 walleye about 2lbs each and a few pike and mudcats. Alot of boats were out there till the north wind wipped it up pretty good on Sunday. I did try for a bit up by shermans and got squat. There was a flotilla of boats working out front Superdads place at bayview. Talking with others at PP and it seemed the fish were quite shallow 6-8ft. Most of the folks were using Uzicks or mepps spinners but alot were jigging and just drifting. Maverick, congrats on the 4th place finish with the Quite bassmasters walleye tournament!
