They played well enough through the first rounds of the playoffs, occasionaly playing poor.
Only game 4 first period one did they play as well as they could have.
It's off to the fishing holes and golf courses for now!...Larry

I sometimes wonder where the hate for the Ottawa Senators comes from. I know last year when the Oilers were in the finals we cheered for the Oilers, three years ago for Calgary. The Senators finally made it to the finals and many had a strong desire to see the Senators lose. I have a good friend who is a Leaf fan to the bone, he said if Iraq had a team he cheer for them before he would cheer for the Senators. I thought my wife gave him an excellent reply "stating yeah and Iraq will win the cup before the Leafs ever do". Too say the least he wasn't impressed but there was no futher smart remarks about the Senators.

I thought Senators played three excellent rounds and got beat by a better club in the finals. "Congratulations to the ducks". Now I can finally get to bed earlier and get up early and go fishing. I hear the Salmon are in at Wellington "GONE FISHING".

As an avid leaf fan since i could walk i can't even say why i hate the sens . . . i just do. But my hate for them didnt affect my prediction, the ducks can adjust to any style and play as much more versitile team, and like i mentioned, they were not depending on one line to carry them like the sens.

aw well, there is always next year sens MUHAHAHAHAHAHA

The thought of the cup coming to Ontario but not to Toronto makes Leaf fans sick. They also live in the past, the Alfredson hit on Tucker excuse comes up as another reason why they hate the Sens. The rivalry started when the Leafs played the Sens in the playoffs for about 3 straight years.
Sens fans woke up this morning feeling good that their team made it to the Stanley Cup finals and should be a threat to make a run again next year. Leaf fans woke up seeing that the Leafs spent 4 million on Andropov (HA HA HA) for another two years with no hope of making the playoffs again next year.

I'll admit, they wont win the cup any time soon with the team they have right now . . . but ill never give up hope, lol. All the leaf haters will jump back on the banwagon if they do make it deep again, but ill be driving the banwagon so its all good haha.

I was reading about that antropov re-signing yesterday . . . i just laughed, no other reaction really, it didnt surprise me one bit.
