Put Superdad back in the water on Friday afternoon and she started real good and ran very well after the soujourn to the shop.

Went to fish on Saturday AM with PerfectlyPat and we headed to Long Reach to find some fish. The reports for the past week had shown the fishing to be slow with many small fish being caught at the Old Church, Kingscourt WeedBed and Thompsons Cove.

We fished Thompsons Cove for a while and saw a couple landed, we met an old friend from Watertown and talked to Pete for a while, he was having the same luck as us - just a couple of small ones.

On Sunday, we fished in the Reach with small cranks and the planer boards up the Reach from Shermans and marked a LOT of fish, but they wouldn't take the cranks or the Uzicks, landed one small eye and lost another.

Monday, Ohio Joe and I headed to Long Reach again, as one of the campers landed a 24.5 incher(5.25lbs) on Sunday morning. We searched for those fish and found some of the BUT the SW wind blowing up the Reach made trolling difficult (up wind was tough and downwind was like being on a rocket). We hit a couple of12 inchers out there on the Orange Uzick and we headed for the lee of Thompsons cove, hit another small eye and then the wind really started toblow, so we packed it in at 1130.

It appears as though everyone is having the same luck, cept some of the campers at Perfect Vue, whose derby Saturday hadsome nice fish landed abd weighed in. Nothing was common, one here and one there, nothing in a pattern.

Took Superdad out of the water as we are headed for a couple weeks in Montreal. Back August 1 - Hope the bite is on by then.

C U then.
