It seems another our board users is destined for fame. Kevin at Merland Park is featured on the Fish N Canada show this weekend. He is fishing with Pete Bowman, casting crankbaits, for walleyes in August on the Bay. I saw the show already and they do catch some hawgs. In fact it's obvious Pete is suprised at the size of the fish available in the summer as just after they nail a 6-8 lber he says " The last time I caught a fish that big I wasn't wearing shorts" reference to the fall walleye bite. If you get a chance check it out.

have caught many real nice eyes slow rollin` spinnerbaits over the last couple of years in late august. largest was about 7lbs,and best evening we caught 9 - all from 3-7 lbs in the same area. As well as 3 largemouth and a pike. I`ll never forget that time as it was obvious the fish were turned right on.I took a retired fella from my trailer park and he`s still smiling!!!

Watched the show this morning and Kevin sure put Pete on some nice fish on the weedline.

Pete is turning into a BOQ regular with that show with Targa2 and now with Kevin.

Combine these shows with the Canadaian Sportfishing segments done in the Picton area. it becoming a High Profile fishery.

They are proving that there fish there and they're catchable.

Looking forward to the soft water in a couple of months, re-stocking the tackle box to fill the holes with those lures lost last year and maybe a new one or two. Found a new source for Thin Fins - Watch out
