Rob and Targa17,

I managed to get 3 walleyes this year. One 2 lber
and 2 around 6 lbs each. Fishing was a slower than
last year. I know the fish were all around me. I
know this because of all the other anglers that caught
fish right next to me.

We should plan to meet in the spring and do some fishing
at the mouth of Hay Bay. Sound like Targa17 has done
well in this area in the past. If the fish aren't biting we
could at least tare up the bay with our props.

Since the Walleye 2003 has been cancelled, we should have
alot more elbow room to fish. Maybe we can get Superdad
to organize a small Derby or Tournament with some of the
guys and girls on this site. I know the fishing isn't as prime
as the fall fish, but at least we are all primed to be out even
if the fishing is slower in the spring.

Hey Batman,

funny you should mention a small tournament. I was just talking with another neighbour of mine from Bayview Resort about something like that. Perfect Vue had a small one last year that some of us attended. Maybe we can get Pickerel Park, Perfect Vue and Bayview residents for one. I know Cedar Trees is also just down the road but I don't know anyone from there.
