The fishing is very active off of Port Hope getting salmon, and rainbows. One of our customers went out this morning and came back at 2:00 pm with his fill of rainbows and salmon. His biggest salmon was 32 lbs. and the next one was 29 lbs. His boat also had 6 rainbows caught and lost 4 rainbows. Bill marked plenty of baitfish and marked many large fish. Most of the fish were caught in 240 - 300 feet of water.

I will be heading out next Tuesday and will report back after we are done.

A nice, big, lake ontario boat....... beautiful!!!!!!!

A great morning of fishing......priceless!!!!!!!

A cooler full of toxic fish for friends & family........potential future health problems?????!!!!!!!!!

Too cheap to buy a $75 ticket for himself and whomever was on board and miss out on a guaranteed, 1st and 6th place finish (at least 30K worth)in the 2007 ontario salmon derby............ well, uh???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what else can one say,

I have never fished off Port Hope but at 240-300 feet, it must either drop off fast like the Scarborough Bluffs or they were a long way out. If the latter, my 16.5 Legend is too risky. Nice big boat for Lake Ontario in the pics.
