Well I will be coming down tonite for a weekend of fun on the Bay and might I say this is Long Overdue

I will be hooking up with my Son and Grandson for some Bass action.

Only problem is most of my fishing on the Bay is for Walleye.

Could someone give me a couple of good starting spots? I have a few ideas in mind but as per usual I might be way off and spend half my time out there running and gunning. I would rather be catching and releasing.

I will post my results next week. Thanks in advance. 8)

Seaweed,
Where are you staying or where do you plan on launching? I might have suggestions close by

I will be staying in Plainfield.

We will launch out of Belleville harbour.

I was thinking of starting off on the big swampy bay to the south after the narrows near the shoal I bounced off of in the spring... still wondering how I got away with that.

I only have maps on the water east of Belleville all the way to Glenora Ferry.

Found a few fish today. My son and grandson both caught fish. Everyone was happy. A good chop pushed us off some good spots but we got by.

Well I got my Son and Grandson out on the Bay of Quinte on Saturday for some Bassin.

We got blown around a lot by a real stiff South-Easterly wind but managed to put some fish in the boat.

Highlight of the day was my Grandson getting his first Largie... on a tube bait. It was well worth the trip.

My Grandson's Largie - ok you have to hold it for the photo I say

He's hooked now. Great Day.

Great pics and report Seaweed, thanks for sharing. That young lad is lucky to have a Grandpa like you to bring him fishing.
