Hey folks...Been reading alot latley, mostly Superdad's post about the bite being off for sometime now.
Ive got friends arriving from out of town w/boats and dont know where to take them. A good day out on the water is always great but getting into some walleye even better.
If the 'eyes are shut down.....hows the lunge fishing been on the Moira or Percy Reach areas????..or anywhere else for that matter
Your help would be greatly appreciated........my friends only make it to town a few times a year.
We are loaded for walleye fishing........but Ive enough gear for about 6 for lunge fishing as a back up.
PM me if this requires a thought of confidence.........Id be more then happy to let you in on some of my smallmouth areas that are producing curently as a trade off..LOL
My bud's are arriving for this weekend...was hoping to hear about any walleye being caught.........Fuel sure has gone up this weekend and 2 days cruise for no fish can be costly......thanks folks.

Ok...57 lookers and no replies.....it's ok..We'll find our way out malloryBay way and perhaps get out near Picton Harbour and do the cement plant- lighthouse cruise around Glennora....prolly troll off of Thompsons point etc..
What would be interesting if the walleye bite is off would be to hunt down some gar pike.........any ideas as to where folks????????
Myself I'd prefer a little 'lunge action anywhere close by without heading 'er on up to my fav spot on Pigeon Lake./Ive heard so much about 'ski's on the Moira and this will be an ideal oppurtunity for me to get there as my personal boat has no trailer..................
I have been told that action is good south of Cambleford for 'lunge...............any takers on that..love to hear about it
Thankyou kindly...........brix

The Moira always has Musky in it, just matter's whether you can find them or not. But the walleye are diffently on a night bite suppose to the early morning action. I would say even try in close 8fow weed lines like that to find em. GL Hope I could help.

I'm in for them lunge spots for sure..you know how I get without that fix.
Havent had much time with just having moved here to Quinte West with cleaning up the mess that was left behind and extending what I must so I havent had the chance to get out whare the mighty musky are and Im a fella without a trailer for my boat till next season so's I only get out on the Trent between the locks Ive got unless friends drop by where we get out on to the bay proper.
Lets talk..........Im in need of a lunge fix ASAP.
Talk soon.............peter

Five of us will be heading to Moira L. on Sunday till Wed. ...staying at Crystal Beach Trailer Park & fishing for multi -species . There have been huge skis caught in front of the park . One boat will fish skis & the other will do the walleye/pike fishing etc. My neighbour here in St.Catharines loves to fish skis....his favourite place for them is lower Buckhorn Lake.
