I just heard that film crews are on the Bay filming the Scott Martin Challenge. I was just wondering if anyone has heard or has seen them on the water?

I have heard the same thing rumour has it was against Dave Mercer and it was taped this week.

As far as the bait goes who knows furious. Maybe Wal-mart, Canadian Tire or Zellers would be my top guesses.

Dave Mercer was on the water on Sunday, A buddy and myself were trolling around the bay bridge and he was out in the Facts of Fishing boat. He was fishing the weed edge by george st docks.

Scott Martin Challenge is on WFN he is the son of Roland and he challenges all to a day fish off and top weight wins. That crazy Boston Red Sox fan has the same type of show - both good viewing. You pick the lake he comes and challanges you to a fish off. One puts 5,000.00 on the line if you beat him.

Newbie: I think you have Beat Charlie Moore and Scott Martin Challenge mixed up. Charlie Moore (AKA Mad Fisherman) is from New England and Scott Martin is from Florida (Lake Okeechobee) Charlie pays out $5000 if you beat him and if you beat Scott Martin you just get bragging rights.

Sheperd that is what I was trying tosay but could not remember Charlie Moores name (Crazy Red Sox Fan). Thanks I guess I am getting sometimers already. Like watching Charlie as he is always entertaining. LMAO.

Hey Newbie: I have a little bit of sometimers as well. I think I get it from watching the Mad Fisherman too much and not spending enough time on the water fishing to clear my head.

Both Dave Mercer and Bob Izumi were scheduled to fish quinte against Scott Martin, the location was changed at the last minute to a lake in up state New York, you will be able to watch it on WFN.
