Went to fish this morning with BayBoy and we tried the deep water beside the Grass Island and over towards Ram Is. Fished for 45 mins and didn't have any kind of luck there. Marked some fish but not many.

Headed down the Bay to Yellow Marker, where we met Ohio Joe and Wilton Bill out trolling. We trolled up-wind towards Thompsons and all around that area, Tried over at Ken's Mountain and some of the west shore.

Headed back to the yellow marker (after the marker had been serviced by the Govt boat) and I was going to change my lure for a shallow runner and found some resistance when I was reeling the planer board and the lure. There were head shakes and we netted a nice 20" - 3.25lbs. The fish wasn't able to pull the planer board as we headed into a stiff southerly wind. The fish took a Storm Lightnin' Shad (Perch Colour) back 120' and the board 80' out.

That was ITT.....................

The other boat didn't have any luck at all.

We felt fortunate to have hit the one fish. The fish are there, but they're tough to take..................

Stay Tuned
