Salmon are in the river.

We had a few of our customers coming in to buy roe and mentioned that the salmon are in the river in great numbers. He lost one that was in the 25 lb range, his line got caught in the rocks and snapped.

This latest rain is bringing the salmon in the Napanee area as well as in the river here in Belleville.

they've been in the wellington harbour for the last month. I caught 2. 1 was 14.15lbs and the other 1 was 14.40lbs

Later on in the season Napanee river is a good spot for some steelheads.
