Adbatt and I got on the water around 7:30 at the Glenora launch. A few other boats were launching at the same time.
We trolled a lot of water with quite a few different baits. I finally hooked into a 26" fish around 10:30 just east of Keith shoal. It hit a TD11 in perch colour on a flat line. I'd say it was out 130-150 ft. No counter on the reel so it's just a guess.
Around 1pm the wind was getting pretty bad so we decided it was a good time to get off. For most of the day the water was really nice. Lots of boats out today. At one point I counted 25 east of the ferry
Hopefully be back out again tomorrow with a better report. :)

fisherboy

We're in a green 15ft Legend.
I don't recall seeing a bayliner. Thompson's point is west of the ferry though is it not? We were east of the ferry.
Were you guys out all day? Got a bit too rough for us in the aft and we pulled the pin.

I have never fall fished for Pickeral before. However, tomorrow we are going to give it a try, east of the Ferry.

I think we have the right equipment and I bought a drift sock for trolling with my larger motor. We are going to try long lines with weights. I found a number of guys from USA and Europe with some really cool videos about winter pickeral fishing on the BofQ.

I am not sure if those of us living in the County and Quinte area really appreciate the significance of how others look upon the BofQ fishery, from around N America and the world, at least when it comes to walleye / pickeral.

I watched a video tonight from a company called urban fisherman that had 3D electronic charts of the East of Glenora floor and the weed lines and where and how they fished them and with what.

Anyway, I can't live this close and not fish.

I'll be out rain or shine, warm or cold on Sunday. I am in a 19.5' Ranger (1990) with a new(er) 175 Evinrude. I will likely have at least one, if not both of my young sons with me.

Everything will be new to me tomorrow, but looking forward to it.

Good luck out there slikfish, we'll probably see ya out there!!! As Wiggler said we're in a 15 ft. green legend with a 25hp tiller. We'll probably both be wearing yellow.

Oh my gosh! Look at the SIZE of buddy's avatar! And a tie no less! Sheesh.

Where's our webmaster? If there ain't a limit on the number of pixels you can put in your avatar, there bloody should be! And as for ties, what the ...? I thought we were all supposed to be lard asses in Mustang suits! Well, at least his tie is ORANGE! If he falls in the water, all we need is a GAFF!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha!

Welcome aboard, Slikfish, and for heaven's sake, get out and catch a fish so you can change your picture!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!

Cheers,
and feeling no pain after a Hallowe'en party.

I dressed as the Diabolical Dr. Piton, with a "free breast examination" box. You wouldn't believe how many hotties put their titties in for a feel from the good doctor. Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!

Hey bass,

Yes, the diabolical Dr. Piton has returned from the big walls of California, and his 33rd ascent of 3000-foot-high El Capitan, another ten day "big wall camping holiday".

I'm just waiting for the weather to cool down a bit more before my dad and I start coming after 'em. Perhaps next week with any luck.

Anyone here good with photo programs. Someone needs to copy and paste a big 'eye in front of Slikfish or something. And how about that "reduce image size" trick?
