Spent the morning at Rush bar, marked lots of fish. Caught lots of perch and found a 35' hole full of channel cat. Quite the fighters I will add. But no eyes for me and a few others at Rush Bar.

Question... Would channel cat and walleye hangout together?
We marked fish right on bottom and about 20' down, the were catching the fish at the bottom (channel cat) but could not pull up any fish when fishing the 15-20' mark.

Rush Bar and the deep waters in the channel just east of the marker have always held cats in the fall. Back in the early 90's before the jig bite changed it was very common to catch cats mixed in with the eyes. I have a picture( couldnt find it) of an 11 lb cat I caught there. Also used to catch alot of smallies there as well.
