Does anyone have the depth chart for the size 0 dipsy? I found the chart for size 1 and 3 here. I have 2 size 0's but threw out the sheet that came with it. DUH!!!

Thanks

Check this out, should do the trick.
Charlie Ray does a mod to dipsys that employs snaps as used on planer boards so that he can have more line back of the dipsy and remove the dipsy as it gets to the boat.
Good Luck.

Thanks bayboy.

That gives me a rough idea where I should be. I have to find a way to calculate for the 8lb diameter fireline I use. 8O

UPDATE: I found my chart!! Did the recycling this evening and found the sheet of paper inside one of the bags. woohoo. :D

8# Fireline I believe is 30# test.

If you purchase the Precision Trolling Big Water Edition, you will have dive curves for all size dipsys and other devices for 8# diameter braid.

Its a fantastic tool to have in the boat. I refer to it as the "bible" for fishing Lake Erie and Lake O. I can get a very good idea of where my dipsys are for wire, braid, and mono in the early spring. It also has curves for Deep Sixes, Jet Divers, Snap weights, etc.

Great call Wiggler.

Are you guys pulling sticks behind those "cookie" dipsys?

I would be curious to see if it would be worth pulling spoons behind them up there?

We catch a ton of Lake Erie spring 'eyes and the guys west of us pick up a ton of them in the fall and spring on Mini spoons (@ 3") pulled behind small dipsys.

Might be worth a shot...

Matt,

This is our first year trying the dipsy's and because we don't have the confidence in them yet they haven't been in the water a lot. I have tried both stick baits and spoons so far. I know some guys use spoons on the bay and do well. Worth a shot for sure.
