Wiggler and I decided to brave the cold weather this morning for a few hours. Started out by Catalaque Shoal, tried to jig up some walleye, but no go. Marked a few fish, water temp was around 33-34. Moved up to Thompson's point and didn't mark a heck of a lot of anything. Trolled around a bit (sans planers, thought they would ice up too much) No go on that, tried a quick jig but with the wind the way it was, we couldn't drift slow enough and didn't have enough anchor rope. Temp around Thompson's was 36-37. On the way back home we noticed quite a bit of ice forming in the narrows around the bridge on 49 highway. Saw a few other boats out there. Good luck to anyone headin' out this weekend, hope you do better than we did!!!!

We were out today from about 10:00am til almost 4:00pm. Tried to jig a bit around Thompsons but the wind was blowing pretty good so we decided to troll. Trolled from Thompsons over to Shermans and then back down to just past the cement plant and then out through the reach to just past Adolphustown Park and then back to the ferry. Marked a few fish but no takers. We used TDD 11's, Stretch 20+ and Reef Runners off the boards. The boards iced up a bit but still worked pretty good. It was friggin cold. Saw quite a few boats out but didn't see much action happening.
