This is my first posting, so please excuse any mistakes. We all get a little nervous our first time LOL. My buddy and I headed up to my cottage on Fri. night with a not so quick stop at Skevy's. Talked to Ron for quite a while and have to thank him for all the info. Sat. morning woke up and was way too cold, so we waited a while. Launched at the Ferry at about 11:30 and it didn't take long to get into fish. Our first hour we took three walleye: 10.3lbs, 11.5lbs and 12.1lbs. It slowed down after that with no fish for about two hours. Got back into them with a double header of smaller ones: 5-6lbs and 7-8lbs. After that we got a few singles in the 9-11lb range. The highlight was our second double header: 14.5lbs and 14lbs. We took seven fish in about forty minutes and took one more a little later to make twelve total for about 4.5 hours of fishing. Our best lure was a fire tiger deep diving Reef Runner and second was a purple Yo-zuri Crystal Minnow. We were fishing just east of the Ferry in about 70 feet of water sometimes getting forced into 15 feet by a couple of boats that didn't like us catching fish. There's lots of water out there and I don't know why some guys will not give way to another boat on the inside. Anyway most of our fish were about 20-25ft down and found perch patterns to be working best. We even caught one about 10lbs that had a 6 inch shad in its mouth(that's a huge shad). I'll try to put up some pictures with this post. We were hoping to try jigging on Sunday but the cold got the better of me on Saturday and didn't get the chance.

Great pics, We were there too, they were on fire that day.

We got 19, just awesome, I think they were hiting anything that day, our good baits were eridescent and cheap sunglasses.

Steve the water temps on my sonar was 43 Degrees.

Wow! Funny how that happens, eh? Sometimes they just turn on and you can't miss. It's been a while since I've had the good fortune to fish during conditions like those.

Dang.
