Quinte Fishing

hey all
sorry for the not many post but will give you a quick summary..have been fishing the picton area for a month now .. fishing as we all know was a little slow a behind in schedule earlier in the fall but as time went on the biggger fish anf numbers continued ..I troll for the most part..started with a few fish a day to over a dozen a day to some over 14 lbs. most fish this year were deeper than normal but have started the past few weeks to rise in the biting zone ...fished a couple of time with a buddy Mike AKA Martyco landed 2 double header one day ..reefrunners and mans did most the damage ....kept just a few smaller one for a fry ..let them grow!!

will be back on monday and tuesday for a last fish if possible hope to launch at glenora ferry ...any report on the conditions of the ramp would help me prepare ..hope its still fishable in the boat!!!
piture is of my son Ethan's 11 lbs walleye he reeled it all by himself..he's 6 years old

Awsome man Congrats to your son!!

I love seeing the youngsters catching them trophys, the smile says it all and they will never forget that moment.

I take my kids when I can, listening to them asking the questions and trying to figure out why this and that is Priceless!!

Were taken a drive out to Picton today I think Greg I know one spot I can prolly cast from shore out there! But will check out the situation or call a local establishment to find out, the guy I work with his wife owns the Funky Carp!P.S. I think Im going to be sick on Tuesday COUGH COUGH or maybe a DR's Apoointment and you know the name of that DOCTOR!

i think your doctor works on the boat on tuesdays too bad i guess you just have to join him ...haha your always welcome mike ..
may have 1 on monday and maybe 2 on tuesday..shoould be room leave the back of the boat open...

Thanx Greg Ill see what I can do but were working to get a 5 day break before Xmas so prolly stuck working! I got my rod it's a 9' rod with a good decent bend to her! The reel should be in before xmas I cant wait!
