You might want to try some of the icons that are right there when you log on, or better yet, go over past posts.

Who baits your hook for you? Really, do a little leg work.

HAY BAY PICKEREL PARK.

Don't be getting all sensitive night-work. He's having a little fun with you. It's 21 days till opener and Mux is edgy like the rest of us.

Stay at Pickerel Park, it's a good suggestion (Launch, Fishing, Price etc)

Nitework,

you might find people won't respond with such an attitude if you lose yours.

Not trying to judge you, but with posts like these expect a little attitude back. First off, if you look at the amount of time between posts, you'll notice that there is sometimes days between posts. This isn't exactly primetime fishing season just yet. And most importantly......IT'S THE PLAYOFFS! A lot of people are glued to their TV's not their computers this time of year. Like Mux said, if you read some of the past posts on this board you'll find a lot of the info you were looking for. In any case, Bayview Resort is a nice place and very reasonable price wise. The Church Weedline, Thompsons' & Sherman's points are good spots to try for fish. Good luck and tight lines.

Ken

Hi Nitework,

not sure what your question is. Is what acceptable? His question about Crotch Lake? If that's what your question is and you're wondering why he received responses fairly quickly, well it's probably because it's a "new" question. Most of the questions that you had asked have already been asked and answered in previous posts....which is what Mux was probably referring to when he said "do a little leg work". If you read some of the many past posts and replies, you'll see questions about Merland Park, Pickeral Park, Perfect Vue etc. have already been answered previously.

In any case, how big is your boat? The best thing I can recommend is to call whichever resort you're planning on staying with and find out if they can accommodate your vessel (launching, docking etc.) As far as trolling casting etc. Depends on where you fish, time of year you're coming up etc. Myself, I prefer casting the weed edges with a spinner and worm combo. That's what did it for me all last year, but again this is my personal preference and will obviously change as the conditions warrant. For the opener, I'll probably be going with jig and minnows to accomodate the more than likely lethargic fish due to the cold water temps.

Ken

In retrospect, and in deference to your situation, but in defence of my behaviour, I didn't realize the outer layer of your epidermis was lacking in depth, and that you were so sensitive. The mere thought that I'd hurt your feelings so grievously with my callous, shallow and hurtful comments deprived me of needed sleep. I offer my most sincere, deepest apology from the bottom of my heart (which is buried deep inside my body). :(

I truly hope (and pray, seeing that yesterday was Palm Sunday), that you catch fish, the fish of your dreams and that time will heal the wounds that I have carelessly inflicted upon your person with my complete and utter lack of human compassion and understanding.

But then again, I have noticed that in the same post I callously, shamefully and mercilessly attacked you, your family and your dog (the hamster I figured, was innocent and might make a hell of a surface pike bait), I gave you the answer you were looking for.

I have been castigated (not castrated) by DeProp and Wayne-o-Mac, who have steadfastly vowed, that for this opener, (and maybe for the season) in a show of solidarity with you, in sympathy with your plight at the hands of my cruel, uncaring and vicous pen (keyboard), that they will never again bait my hook for me, fetch me a beer, make me breakfast, set up the tent, etc., etc., etc.

It appears that I will, in fact, pay for my crimes against society. Therein lies the rub, my friend, I have suffered and will continue to suffer.
