I checked Rush Bar out on Saturday evening and there was only just barely enough ice to cautiously walk around on, avoiding the bad spots. It rained somewhat that night and was mild. I knew that Saturday would be the last day for Rush for awhile. As of today, I wouldn't doubt that there could be some open water even. Definitely stay away from there until we have some consistent cold weather back for awhile. The guys went out to check out Point Anne West this morning and reported very bad ice there as well. There were sink holes everywhere and it was like playing roulette. After the rain today, it will be out of the question as well. Be safe...

It's getting bad everywhere....... I fished big bay on the big island side yesterday and while walking in I started to get that feeling again!!! It's safer then most spots but in another day no spots will be safe. You could here the flow coming in from shore! Be safe get you boat out or your pole and find a shore spot........ Im thinking about hitting MP soon!
