I was just talking to a friend who told me that small numbers of fish have started running up the salmon river. He saw about 10 fish taken by MBQ. The water is still really cold but with the warm temps for this week the spawn should be in full swing soon. Most of the water in the Belleville region is open except for a small section west of the bay bridge and along shoreline areas.
