Snarfy,

My spy (Laker John) was out for a drive yesterday and went out to see the water & ice conditions.

According to what he saw, IF there was a huge wind, the ice might blow apart. The unfortunate part ofhis trip out was that he was looking at the water near the generating station and not on the inner BOQ.

So I wouldn't be loading the trailer on the vehicle quite yet for any soft water action.

Cheers

David aka Superdad

Snarfy I think you are on to something, the chances of soft water loom decent in the near future! Sorry ice fishermen) If you lads are planning an outing and there is room in the boat let me know!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the report Super Dad, Jimbo we will always make room! I am prying for the wind, but Mux put a downer on the trip with this dropping of white ****! The narrows, warm weather and current under the bridge had me thinking that I could get the crew out of bed at 3:00 am once again.
I never really put the boat in storage, so if you see open water please give us notice Super Dad and I will have Mux drag my sorry Butt up to the BOQ to take his weight king seat away. 14.2lbs is small at this time of the year!

I find it ironic that the Snarfster states that "he never really puts the boat into storage", when in fact he keeps it in my goddam garage year round.

As for ice, Screw the ice, ice is for drinks, ice is for bruises (but mostly for drinks). Who the hell would want to ice fish when they can fish from the boat?

I say bring on the ice-breakers, bring on the cement boats and someone turn on the damned heat. I'd love to get the boat in the water again like we did on January 12/'08, and jig the narrows. If it should come to pass, Jimbo, we'll drop you a line.

I repeat, ice is for drinks, if you drink too much and fall down, ice is also for bruises (but mostly for drinks).

Hey Muxie, nice to hear from you, am I booked in for the opener yet?
Patio is on his way up, we are having a ski weekend, it should be interesting, in fact it always is. We are supposed to get 30 more cm of snow this weekend, you could not beleive the snow we have here....tons
Drop me a line if we are jigging.

Nice of you to keep the boat in your garage, it's part of being a team player buddy...big picture.

speaking of big pictures, here is what we do on the ice in Quebec. I run a hockey program for local kids that can't get into leagues, for whatever reason. The locals just love my outfit.

Cheers
Jimbo

That's keepin' the little buggers off the streets, Jimbo. I love the team uniform, keeps everyone guessing.

As for your book-in, my e-mails and Macs phonemails have gone unanswered as of yet. So, I don't know what's going on there. Send an e-mail to the address that I pm'ed you and let me know when you hear anything.

Mac and I are off to the indoor driving range to whack a few. Give Patio a good smack for us, god knows he needs it.
