Im looking at getting a aluminum liveewll made up. Anyone know of anygood welders in the area? Ottawa/kingston? Anyone had any experience having on made up? Im also looking for a single console windshield...Does anyone know where you can get an after market one, I would rather not go through a dealer and leave my left you know what on the counter just to get one

I've heard rumours about a boat bone yard at the end of Northshore rd on Loughbourough Lake but I have not been able to find it. As I understand, it is some guy's farm and you can just drive out there and ask about parts or rummage through the boats in the yard. Myth? Maybe, but it would be worth a shot if you could get the parts cheaper.

If anyone knows of this yard or has been there I would love to know about it because I need some parts myself.

Billy Dee.

The place exists, it's a LONG drive in and you think the road isending but, once you start seeing motors and boats, you;re really close.

Looking for 'old' parts, he's the man to see, I went to see him last year looking for an electric start for my kicker and was given the facts on the availabilty of said part and the possbility of finding that part - Nil and None.

Just keep driving and you'll find the place.

Hey Blake, did you talk to Ernie Rider about getting the livewell welded up.
Not sure if he can do it but if he can't he would probably tell you who could.

I had one made for me a few years back, 24" x 24" x 10" deep. I went to a metal fabricating place and it cost me around $200. On top of all that you will have to get the hoses and the pump and punch a couple of holes in the boat. Mowat Fabricating in Trenton on North Murray does work in aluminum but I could only guess at the price. Good luck with your quest. (The other option is buy a livewell with the boat already attached.)

Try Kingston Seasport, he is the big building next to the hydro lennox plant on 33 hwy. He bulids alum boats and should be able to help you out.
