Hi all, anyine have any info on the ice conditions at huffs rd.? Thinking of heading there tomorrow afternoon. thanks in advance

Ice varies in thickness as a result of the currents in the Huffs area. I fished Huffs Sat/Sun, thickness is ok, not great...but still quite fishable. Ice that we saw was approx 3" of black ice with 3" of white ice. Some areas only had 5" of white ice, I would be careful in these areas (Mostly the West side of Huffs).

With the warmer weather this week I would be careful with venturing out in the middle of the bay, close to shore has been much thicker.

Still , I would always suggest talking to locals before going out.

thanks for the reply hodgey, much appreciated. maybe i'll try big bay if it stops snowing.
