It could be tough to get a place on shore but the shoreline near the Wolf Island Ferry dock, on the island side can be a great place if your timing is right. Around the end of April if memory serves me correctly, for yellow perch.

Crappy used to see a small group of people focused on Lourborough Lk just north of Kingston between the two main bodys, This is also a spring time location.

Hopefully this helps.

Regards
Donald Stokes

Not too sure about the kingston area but if you go to trenton the island off dufferin ave. is loaded with big jumbos and some nice pike.

There used to be some crappies out on Hgy 2 at the Treasure Island MArina, there's a piece of water off the road that used to hold fish.

I haven't fished there for 15 years. I would think they would still be there.

Hopes that helps

The River in Gan at the park, Seele'y Bay, village of Portland at roadside park. Treasure Island seems to offer no more than very small perch. Kingston Mills will have lots of crappy and perch but on the small side as well.

I moved to Kingston about 10 years ago and havn't gone fishing at all, and I would love to start again this year. Can you please elaborate on these locations? In particular, where about Kingston Mills are the crappy? Above the dem, just below (where the water/hydro comes out), or further downstream where the dock is? I live 5 minutes from it :)

Kingston offers great fishing if you have a boat. If anyone can share some information about where to go for shore-fishing, it would be very much appreciated,
