Looks like it's in the slot size to me! LOL
Nice Hawg for sure, I've fished stripers in Cape Cod in the past, a
great sport fish. We fish them on umbrella rigs, and we've hook into 2
at a time more than once. Thats

I understand that this (once officially confirmed) would stand as #4 on the alltime largemouth weight. Thanks for posting this Superdad. It is always interesting to see an exceptional specimen from the "gene pool"....lol.

Putting on my conservation hat, I would welcome some waters being designated trophy status in Ontario, with special regs. designed to enhance C & R, yet encourage the growth.... I have seen some amazing waters where unique regulations have encouraged, some equally amazing results. Some have certificates or pins for fish released over a certain size with others having special tags, etc. Just some food for thought, from someone that appreciates all great fisheries....not just my beloved trout!

That is an awesome fish, what are bucket mouth......if a fiberglass mount was made , a new mould would definitely be required !!!! .....now when I land a few 54" muskies from the Ottawa that are the new legal lengths I'll forward in a pic or two of them !!

The BassMasters rankings of official BIG BASSSS are here, so, if you plan a Bass fishing trip to the states, make sure you hit these lakes, check sub_lnks in site;

http://espn.go.com/outdoors/bassmaster/ ... 30604.html

As Roland Martin would say: "Man Alive son, thats one big Bass."
