I got out for an hour's fishing Sunday evening.
The uzicks worked well. I lost my first fish just short of the boat. I got 2 others before the fishing turned off in the area. People fishing earlier than i had very good results as well. The wind kicked up and came from the east-things stopped right away....Larry

Larry, let us all in on what a "uzicks" bait is. I've read this on other messages, went on net, and asked friends, still can't figure it out.
Thanks,
John

An uzick as I understand it is a "home made" worm harness, with a single spinner and a single hook. I was given one last year at the meet and greet, never had a chance to use it but the next time I get to the bay
I plan to. Sort of a locals secret I suppose, hope I'm not letting the cat out of the bag o this one boyz.

Thanks for the description, Jimbo. Superdad also gave some info. I'll give this a try soon.

They really work well. The fellow that started it all has made them in only 2 colours-chartreuse and orange. They are used generally with a 1/4 to 1/2 oz. slip sinker in front of them.
The uzicks are one of the best lures i have used....Larry
