Quinte Fishing

The conservation barbecue went extremely well. The weather looked dicey for a while, but the bottom line is.....it worked.

Everyone seemed to have a good time, with a few fish caught and released, and some really nice food. There were a total of 7 groups represented, with eveyone not surprisingly being in agreement about the "state of the outdoors in Ontario". I found this most interesting.

Rain was forecast and with the exception of a few spits..... it was a fine day. It will be interesting to see what happens next.

I'm extremely happy that your efforts reached fruition regarding your conservation BBQ. Its indeed unfortunate that you won't be here to continue the cultivation of this endeavour. I'm hopeful that the seed you have planted will continue to grow through efforts from others with the same interest.

Additionally, please accept my best wishes for every success in your new endeavours. Your contributions to the BOQ community specifically and to Ontario conservation of resources in general will be sorely missed. Tomcat
