Caught a tagged walleye of the corner of Hay bay and Long Reach on Sunday, fish was around 20 inches in length. The tag was orange/pink?and had a telephone number on it, just in case Ive lost the number, does anyone have any information on this tagging program.

There have been contests in the past that have had tagged fish. I am unsure if Trenton is involved with the Kiwana'a (I think they did this at one point but do not have full access to my files.....damn computers stolen....yuk).

NY state and no doubt Glenora Research station/MNR have both conducted studies, but alas again, all my information (for now) is gone.

The tagged fish should be reported to the the MNR at the glenora fishing station. They will take the information and ask you to send the tag in. They will in turn send you a letter stsating when it was caught/size/weight and also send you a very nice hat.
I have one of these hats and know of 3 other people who have caught tagged fish this year. This shows the seasonal movements of fish in the area....Larry

thanks for the info Harry, but unfortunately, if they want that tag I'll have to get the scuba gear out, its still attached to the fish, which at the time was a couple of hundred yards of Shermans. I can describe what it looked like.................!?!?
