Just saw the pic of the Siamese-Pike on the photo gallery board. Anyone have the info on where, when and who caught this freak ?

I have heard of carp with no visible eyes (St. Clair area), in the past and found this pike interesting. I am curious too!

I saw the photo of the simease pike from lake St. Clair before in a genetics class. The visiting prof from Windsor at the end of the lecture told us the photo was fake. Simply the fish smaller fish was pulled through the gill of the larger fish. Things are not always what they appear to be.

Food for thought or humor...... Lets say you were in a pike derby and caught this one.....How would you measure it and did you catch one or two?

Hey guys I was wondering how long before someone picked up on that picture. The only info sent to me with the picture is it was caught while while fishing off a dock where they were staying. I think it was Hay BAy.

Hmmmmm...... Alberta....the only place I could think of having the remote possibility of this anomally is Swan Hills, or the extreme lower section of the Bow....both I consider slim to nil. If there is a fisheries bio that is an avid (there are a few)....I would welcome comments and further insite into this picture.

I stand by my bet that this would be from the St. Clair area. No offence to the Windsor, Sarnia folks.....

Interesting to note if you look close enough, the smaller pike if attached after would have had to have it's head cut off and turned around too. The eyes of the smaller fish appear to be close to the right eye of the large pike's right eye with the gill plate facing away from the large fish. But the upper fin and dorsal fin are backwards to the head making the smaller pike's body twisted upside down to it's head. I just love to ramble but does anyone concur?.
