Went out for a few hours on Saturday Morning and landed four 'eyes. A 14" & 16" at Sherman's, a 22" at Thompson's and a 14" at the Church. Tried Mallory Bay for a short while but the wind and waves made it too tough to control the boat. The MNR were out checking licenses and had carded about 15 boats that I had seen before talking to us. They said that we were the only boat that they had talked to that had landed any fish. Sunday went out for four hours and didn't even get a sniff of a Walleye. Just a few Silver Bass, Perch and Gobies. We tried Sherman's, Thompson's, the Church and the Pig Farm and didn't mark a darned thing! Hopefully next weekend.

Hi John,

the four fish we caught on Saturday were all on Uzick's. 3 on Fluorescent Orange and 1 on Chartreuse. The wife and I haven't used anything but Uzick's all year (haven't needed to)! :D There were a TON of birds on the water EVERYWHERE, which led me to thinking that maybe the shad had moved in making the bite a little more difficult. I may have to try a different lure such as a Rapala or Rogue if that's the case  Are you coming down anymore this year? Sorry I missed you the last time, I had run into Superdad one day on the water and he said you had just pulled your boat out and I ended up missing you. Well, hope to meet you sometime in the near future and tight lines.

Ken

P.S. Superdad,

I'm out of Orange! LOL.

Ken,

Will be back Sunday night after work, you'll probably be gone.

Will talk on Messenger and make arrangements.

Hi Ken,
Late summer we found the orange works better. I think it is because they are feeding on young perch. No more trips planned this year. Will start chasing the salmon, steelheads, and deer. Looking forward to meeting you next year. Good luck.
