Was out to fish Monday the 8th, fished Carp Bay and Shermans, but the winds were merging at Shermans and the waves were all over the place.

Left and headed to Thompsons Cove, the floating weeds were TERRIBLE, couldn't keep the line without a weed for two minutes.

Tried the Old CHurch area and headed in at 1230 with a strike-out at all places.

Out for the evening and tried the spots east of Bayview, the north shore line - didn't get a hit. Went to Old Church as the wind would in the lee. Hit a couple of 15 inchers on the Orange Uzick in 18' of water. Finished at 1945.

Tuesday AM, headed out with Perfectly Pat, went to OLd CHurch and hit a 20" eye on the Orange Uzick.

Attention: The porta potty at the Old Church launch ramp has been removed. The Dock at the Shermans Launch ramp has been removed. This F Y I.

Decided to try Mallory Bay, there were lots of floating weeds ( not as bad as the previous day at Thompsons) and got a nice 23" (4.5 Lbs) on the Orange spinner.

Back in at 1200, headed back to Old CHurch area for the evening, (1700 - 1830) no hits or misses, didn't see a fish landed.

Finished at 1900.

The bite is off compared to the past two months, there are some fish there and they'll take if the mood is right.

Back next Mon & Tues.

Thanks for the reports David. This is the time of year where I actually start getting serious about fishing.

I jsut got back from a fishing trip up NOrth, you mayhave read it on another board.

The summer is coming to an end as well as the long hours of work. This always gets my anticipation of the season started.

I look forward to reading more reports in the up coming season. Praps I will even make it for this Falls meet and greet.
