Quinte Fishing

When the wind died down on Tuesday evening, my son and I were able to get for an hour. We had time constraints.

We fished the west side of Ram Is in the 9-12 foot levels tracing the weedbeds. Five minutes after we started my son picked up nice 18" on an Orange Uzick. We fished there another 20 minutes and headed over for a quick pass by the Old Church. This was still in the wind and the waves over a foor and half. One pass and back to Bayview.

Took the boat out for fear of Fridays pending storm.

Back next week for a couple or three days.

Hey David,

my parents also only stayed out for a limited time the day you saw them, they picked up one about 17" just east of Bayview along the shore. I heard the waves were incredible! Yesterday (Wednesday), they took a trip up to Deseronto to visit some old SECRET Bass spots they hadn't been to in a year and a half (they won't even tell me where they are). They were happy to report that the spots were still producing Came home with 3 nice smallies 2 - 2 1/2 pounds, also lost a couple of nice ones. Thanks for the refill David...my dad charged me a "delivery tax" of one Orange Uzick LOL. Hope your schedule allows for us run into each sooner rather than later! Til next time.
