Quinte Fishing

Hi all
Few years back, I came across a certain post in a fishing board ( cant remember which one) mentioning about fall shorefishing opportunity for whitefish around Trenton area. I only have Whitfish experience on Lake Simcoe. Can someone confirm this?....may be some hints on the general locations will be highly appreciated. Tightlines all.

Whitefish can be located in the Trent R., below the dam at #401 area. That said, please check the regualtions.....this area has been a concern for snagging, etc. and might very well be closed. It is surprising that more people do not target whitefish in the BOQ.
