I'm going to be staying at Merland Park, just outside of Picton, to fish Saturday through Monday. I've fished the Kawartha's (where five pounds is a trophy and nine feet of water is deep) for twenty years but never been to quinte... any advice? :?:

The water is still cold but hopefully will warm up soon. To date the bite has been tough but the trollers who are having luck are running short leads, planner boards and fishing from 12' to the surface. Good Luck
