Curious to know where a couple locations in the Quint are. Where abouts is the bat cave and Keith's shoal?

I plan to be out fishing from this Friday until late the following week....any pointers on where these spots are would be great.

Thanks!

Fisherboy is correct about the Batcave. Keith Shoal is a shoal that has an extreme peak at 5' and covers an area of approx 40' around, it then drops into 65', then to 85'. This spot can hold tons of Walleye in the fall. It is located in front of the south shore approx 4 miles east from the Glenora Ferry.

Cheers, Hodgey...

That's hilarious, however you'll find NO walleye in the Bat Cave LOL.

Cheers, Hodgey...

My wife and I were up for the first time last year. I was worried about not knowing what the bat cave was. Trust me, when you see it you'll know.

My old man told me that some dentist from Belleville built it on some property with no house on it. I think its probably some kind if party deck, where you can park your boat underneath. Kind of spoils the view if you ask me, but a good land mark I suppose.

Anyway, thats just what my dad told me...

i was told that it was a rich american family that bought it in the early 1900's when there wasn't rules around destroying landscape.

they also own two giant houses on each side of the cave, up on the bluff.

the cave itself is rundown, as it used to house a large boat that the family took from rochester across the lake, and into the reach.

but the water level has dropped SO MUCH since it was built, there may only be a few feet of water in the cave itself...

makes for a great spot to hide out during a bad storm, or if the winds start blowing from the east or west.

Landshark and I found it . You cant miss it, and I am from NY, but not a rich American, a local from the cove did tell us that a Canadian dentist does own it. The water is about 125 ft. or more in front of it. :)

Well Michael Gorbachev (last Soviet president) used to have cottage in Crimea with underwater tunnel that a submarine can dive under his cottage and move him away. Who know may be it the same idea?
